Panama is indeed among the greatest travel destinations in all Central America. A country with unlimited islands, pristine beaches, and prosperity of historic sites, Panama offers people a chance to explore the best birdwatching, snorkeling and deep-sea fishing in the Americas.

Panama is world-famous for its 48-mile CANAL that connects the Pacific Ocean with the Atlantic Ocean as well for the Panama Hat, despite being known as "Panama hats," these hats have not really been produced in Panama. As a business, hat-weaving emerged at the beginning of the 1600s along Ecuador and at villages. The title of "Panama hat" was pretty much set in stone once President Theodore Roosevelt traveled to Panama to oversee the construction of the Panama Canal in 1906 — the hat became trendy, thus solidifying the title "Panama hat" for all these Ecuadorian — produced straw hats.
